Hello, welcome to You Choose Your Way! If you’ve ever typed “what is wrong with me” into a search bar at 2 AM, you’re in the right place. You’ve found the right corner of the internet.
I’m Isha. I started this blog because I was obsessed with productivity and self-improvement. I journaled every day, tracked ten-plus habits, and still felt like I was somehow doing life wrong. Learning about HSP, complex trauma, and nervous system regulation changed everything, because it turned out I didn’t need fixing. I just needed tools built for how my brain and body actually work.
This blog is a collection of everything I wish I’d known back then: practical tools for nervous system healing, burnout-free productivity, and navigating your twenties without losing yourself.
Everything here comes from lived experience and a lot of personal research. I’m not a therapist. My background in psychology and behavioural economics, combined with years of therapy and personal research, shapes everything I write. If you’re in crisis or need clinical support, please reach out to a licensed professional.
Where to Begin
If you’re new here, these three posts are the best entry points:
- Your Nervous System Is Not Broken, for when you can’t figure out why you can’t just “calm down.”
- HSP and Complex Trauma, for anyone who grew up being told they were “too sensitive.”
- Time Blocking for Students, for brains that fight traditional, rigid productivity systems.
Explore by Topic
- Nervous System Healing: hypervigilance, living as an HSP, and gentle regulation tools for daily life.
- Productivity Without Burnout: realistic time blocking, journaling frameworks, and goal setting for overthinkers.
- Intentional Living: making small, honest choices that actually feel like yours.
